our staff
One of the most, if not the most critical components to accomplishing our mission and successfully implementing our philosophy is maintaining the highest quality staff and providing them with the resources and support to be successful.
We've all seen the movies that emphasize the difference a single teacher can make. We've all had that one teacher that made an impression on us that still reverberates today. The importance of the teachers and staff that work with our children is no less important for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or any of the children in our care. Every teacher makes a difference! And yet, attracting and retaining wonderful staff is the greatest challenge for anyone in our industry.
The faculty and staff at Educational Playcare understand how crucial the first years of life and learning are. Our faculty is made up of dedicated and caring professionals who welcome the opportunity and challenge of educating and caring for your children.
- Almost all of our preschool teachers and many of our infant/toddler teachers hold four-year degrees in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Of those that don't, many are actively engaged in Early Childhood Education classes through our tuition and reimbursement program.
- All of our staff are certified in First Aid & CPR.
- All of our staff have a genuine love for young children and a commitment to high quality education.
- All of our staff participate in Continuing Education. In addition to college courses, outside seminars and independent study, six to eight times a year, outside speakers are brought in to examine special topics in depth.
