locationS - Windsor

Our Windsor location opened in September, 2002. Although located in the only shopping strip on Day Hill Road, the inside was specifically designed from the start to be a state-of-the-art-facility, complete with a large, scenic room used exclusively for gross motor skills (we call it "The Village"). In the rear is a spacious playground, and we are in process of adding two additional play areas that will provide enormous outdoor space for play. This year we became nationally accredited by the NAEYC.

The fact that we're in a shopping plaza is deceiving. Inside the individual classrooms and play areas are spread over 9,000 square feet and benefit from wonderful external and internal lighting and colors. In the back we have a generous outdoor play area.

Since opening in Sept, 2002, we have continuously expanded our programs and facilities.

The entranceway is secured by a pass-key activated security system ensures that only our parents and staff will have open access to the children. It opens into this spacious entranceway/reception area. All of our classrooms have cameras which allow our Director to continuously monitor activities throughout the center.

To the right of the entranceway is a large two story room used exclusively for development of gross motor skills and themed play. It assure year-round activity, regardless of poor weather. With numerous "village rooms" on the first floor, a stairway leads to the second story, ending in a slide down into the ball pit.

If you want the perfect picture, catch your child at the bottom of the slide in the ball pit!!

Our infant room provides a warm, stimulating and nurturing environment in which children can explore their expanding world and develop skills in safe, supportive surroundings. The dinosaur painting activity pictured here is a part of our infant curriculum designed to allow infants to experience all of their senses.

Circle time allows for development of a sense of belonging to a group. Social skills are enhanced when children learn to share ideas and listen to ideas of others. Pictured here is Circle time in our three and four year old preschool classrooms.

Our four year old class of 2006 is pictured here in their "reading loft".

Our rear classrooms all open up to a gigantic play area that is used exclusively by our infants and toddlers. On the side of the building we've just finished construction of a huge new playground area that will be used by our preschoolers.
