special programs - Field trips / visitors / events Field Trips Each year all our centers go on field trips to nearby locations. As seen here, our Windsor center's annual visit to Brown's Farm for pumpkin pickin is a perennial favorite. Flamig Farm and the Pickin Patch are also popular destinations. Visitors All year round we welcome special visitors from every walk of life. Sometimes it might be one of our parents, who'll come in and play a few accordion numbers, or talk about their profession. During the two weeks we learn about community helpers week we're visited by dentists, doctors, firemen, policeman, farmers, and many others. The police teach preschoolers about safety issues. Farmer Brown visits our preschoolers with his pig. Daisy (in the stroller!). i A visitor from The Nature Center demonstrates a real giant turtle shell. Special Events Throughout the year all of our centers have various events where parents are invited to join their children and have an opportunity to meet the other parents in their children's classrooms.
