Tammy Cavanaugh, Assistant Director (Glastonbury)

Tammy has been working in the Early Childhood Educational field since 1999. Since starting her career in Early Childhood Education, Tammy has held many roles including teacher, and worked in the office as an administrator. Throughout her 20 years of experience, she has completed various workshops and trainings. Tammy joined the EPC family in 2018 as an Assistant Director.

Tammy loves working closely with families and their children to ensure their childcare experience is of the highest quality. She believes that every child should have a learning experience tailored to their individual needs. Tammy loves working with children and feel they all should have an amazing learning experience.

During her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her son and her grandson, who attends Educational Playcare and LOVES it!

Annie Serafino, Assistant Director (Glastonbury)

Annie received her associate degree in Child Development in 2016 and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with Educational Playcare for 5 years and has over 10 years of Early Childhood Education.

Annie first began her early childhood experience as a camp counselor, where it sparked her passion of working with children. Since being with Educational Playcare, she has held the positions of Lead Preschool Teacher, Mentor, Curriculum Coordinator, and Alternate Administrator.

Annie loves to excite children about learning, especially sciences and art. Some of her hobbies include gardening and costume makeup. She has a strong love for animals, especially her two cats, Artie and Ozzie. In her spare time, Annie also loves to visit antique shops and enjoys beach days with her husband Mike and friends.
